He looks right, left, then up. “I don’t know. Someone asked me once, ‘Do you always have to pause and think a bit before answering a question?’ I sat there a second, considering.”

“JQS took this survey at school today to determine if you’re left-brained or right-brained. Then he came home and gave it to me.”

“Well, which am I?”

“Oh, I don’t know. There’s a bunch of questions…When he was giving it to me and got to the section listing personality traits he paused at the word ‘dominate’ and suppressed a smile. I looked at him a moment and ‘Umm, yeah’. He started laughing. I said, ‘What would you have done if I had said no?’ ‘Laugh harder’.”
